In the end of session feedback from summer Boot Camp, my students told me not to bother with zoom breakout rooms. They said no one wants to talk and it’s just awkward. But they said that discussion boards were great. I am still looking for ways to build student to student discourse, and came across this blog today that has me inspired. Jacob Steiss suggests assigning roles for collaborative writing and using the google extension authorviz to track authorship. My wheels are spinning…
